• Attaching champs (inwales) to the frames along the inside length of the gunwale.

• The breasthook (triangular reinforcement integrated with the bow) is shaped and installed.

• Securing knees together with the stringers, gunwale, and transom.

• V-shaped reinforcements are attached to the inside face of the transom.

• Adding transverse floors to the double-chine (not in Barto's plans).
