• Construction of the transom from a white oak panel and beveling of the planking edges. The transom is made of a panel of glued white oak planks, joined by grooves and reinforced with stainless steel drifts.

• Attachment to the aft end of the mold (its tip later connect to the bottom and keel fin assembly).
